IHL Newsletter Submission Guidelines

What can I submit?

We welcome all kinds of ideas - from news pieces, stories, and performances to your favorite things to do, job adverts, cultural insights and so much more.

Typically, we don't accept commercial adverts - though some paid-for events can be featured if they are relevant to the international community. The usual rules about no politics, religion, or activism apply.

If you're not sure, just drop us a note, and we'll be happy to consider the idea. (Please note that submission does not guarantee publication.)

P.S. We also love to include photos from the community to see what people have been up - if you do submit a photo, please make sure you have permission from anyone in the picture for it to be used online.

How can I submit?

You can submit your idea by sending us an email: internationalhouse@leuven.be

Make sure to include clear information, links, timings and pricing as relevant - and if you have a photo we can use then please include that too! :)

What are the deadlines?

Our team reviews submissions on a monthly basis. The submission deadline is two weeks before the end of each month, on the nearest working day. Below is the submission schedule for 2025:
