Ask an Immigration Expert: Individual Consultations
Stop by the International House Leuven to receive a consultation about any questions you have regarding living and working in Belgium legally.
About the event
Come prepared with your questions and any supporting documents you need to explain your situation and ask your questions. You will have a 15-minute time slot to chat with the expert that is present on the day.
At each event we have one of the following guest consultants present. After the consultation if you still have pressing questions you can schedule a paying session with the expert, something you would need to organize yourself.
Guest consultants
Karen Rastelli, an independent immigration expert from Into Belgium, who has been working in Belgium for over 20 years advising internationals in their immigration queries.
Massimo Maesen, a lawyer specialized in immigration from Expat Management Group dedicated to helping internationals find answers.
Chloé Dechanet from Anywr. Born and raised in France Chloé has been living in Belgium for 10 years and working as an immigration specialist since 2018. She speaks French, English, Spanish and Dutch.
Sergey Chernetskiy, founder of immigration agencies Arbeidskaart.be & Beroepskaart.be, has been living in Belgium since 2015. He works as an expert in workforce and business migration and speaks English, Ukrainian, Russian, Dutch.
When
The last Wednesday or Friday of the month at the time stated (generally always early afternoon, but it depends on the availability of the expert).

You can pick the 15-minute time slot in the registration section below. You will be asked to pay a deposit of 15€ (+1,92€ service fee) to reserve your spot. After coming to your consultation you will receive your deposit back (excluding the 1,92€ service fee).
This helps ensure the immigration consult's time is respected, and easier for your time as you have a specific time slot to arrive (as opposed to before when you sometimes had to wait an hour before your appointment).

Price
Deposit of 15€ (+1,92€ service fee)
After coming to your consultation you will receive your deposit back (excluding the 1,92€ service fee).
Refunds are possible 48 hours in advance, upon request. If you cancel your appointment (at least 48 hours in advance) you will be refunded the 15€ from the event but not the service fee of 1,92€.
If you request a refund 48 hours before the event or do not show up to your allotted time slot, you will not receive a refund.
