Members can now book a workstation in advance through an online platform using their library card. This system aims to guarantee the availability of a spot, especially during the busy exam periods for students.

How does it work?

To make a reservation, members need to visit leuven.werkindebib.be, log in with their library card number, select the desired date, time, and place, and then receive a confirmation email.

Upon arrival at the library, they can find their reserved spot using a seat number and check in and out with a QR code.

Reservations can be made up to two weeks in advance for a maximum of three time-slots at once, and currently, the system only applies to the main library in the Tweebronnen building.

And: new printing service!

Additionally, the library is launching a new service that allows users to print directly from their own devices in all branches of ‘de Bib Leuven’.

This service is especially beneficial for those who do not have their own printer and eliminates the need to log in via a bibpc.

Printing fees can be paid through the library card.

For more information about the new online reservation system and printing service, individuals can visit the Bib Leuven website or contact 016 27 45 00.
