About the workshop
Maintaining home languages whilst fostering the school and community languages, and making sure that our children will not only speak but also be able to read and write in all their languages requires strategies, consistency and flexibility.
During this online workshop, Ute Limacher-Riebold will share insights into the latest scientific findings, as well as her own experience and the one of her clients. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A so Ute can answer your questions about how to best support your children's multilingual journey.
This topic was suggested by the some parents in the International community, so this session will focus more on having a discussion with an experts there as a moderator and to share her expertise on the subject matter. So, your questions when registering will help Ute, to organize the session tailored to want you want to discuss.

About the speaker
Ute Limacher-Riebold PhD is a multilingual Intercultural Language and Communicaiton Expert at Ute’s International Lounge. She is a linguist, researcher and author of The Toolbox for Multilingual Families and How to raise a bilingual child (available in several languages), and broadcaster at Raising Multilinguals Live and Ute’s International Lounge – Let’s talk on YouTube. Ute grew up abroad and has always lived outside of her country of origin. She helps internationals, especially families who speak multiple languages, maintain their home languages whilst embracing new ones.
