Clothing Swap with MAAKbar
We are joining forces with Maakbar to host a clothing swap! With this great initiative people can give the clothes that are just sitting in their wardrobes a nice second chance.
How will it work?
Step 1: Drop-off
You can come by on Friday, April 24th between 12:00-18:00 to drop off the clothes, shoes, or accessories that you would like to contribute to the swap.
Please note that in the April edition we will accept spring and summer clothes only (no thick jackets for example).
When you drop-off your clothes you'll receive some coupons to redeem for other clothes from the swap (the swap takes place on Saturday)! Once you donate the clothes you cannot receive them back.
Step 2: Buy or Swap
On Saturday, April 25th between 11:00-16:00 come back to buy used clothes or redeem the coupons you received from dropping off clothes the day before.
Good to know
- Please note that the swap is for adult clothes only, no children's clothes.
- We will accept spring and summer clothes only (no thick jackets for example).
- All leftover clothes will be donated to a non-profit.
- Registration is not required.

Where
International House Leuven (Tiensevest 60) - when you arrive, follow the signs to the gym in the back of the building

Volunteer needed!
Maakbar is looking for volunteers to help organize the clothes and make the event run smoothly. Email Elke from Maakbar to express your interest and she will get back to you with more details: elke@maakbar.org. They are looking for volunteers on both Friday and Saturday.
