Introduction to Traditional Thai Massage
Are you curious about Thai massage and would like to learn it as a hobby?During this demonstration and talk you will gain a clearer understanding of what Thai massage is really about and it's potential to help the body, beyond the level one would normally experience as a tourist.
About the event
Our volunteer Mark will explain how Thai massage is practiced traditionally, why it's so diverse and demonstrate how he practices it and its benefits. His wife will join to help him demonstrate the practice live.
Since your presence will primarily be as an audience rather than an active participant, you don't have to bring anything with you, just a curious mind :)
About the Volunteer
I have nearly 15 years of experience practicing and teaching Thai massage, including several years spent learning the art from a well-known teacher, Pichest Boonthumme, in Chiang Mai. I have been living in Leuven for about a year and welcome the opportunity to meet new people and make friends.
