Summer Boost: Dutch for Job Seekers

Are you learning Dutch and looking to boost your confidence during the job hunt? Join our summer workshop and learn how to find job vacancies, write a strong CV, and confidently handle job interviews — all in Dutch!

Practice makes perfect so you will get lots of speaking time

We’ll help you:

  • Understand the Belgian job market
  • Create an eye-catching CV
  • Write a convincing cover letter that reflects your personality
  • Increase your online visibility with a strong profile on LinkedIn and other job platforms
  • Learn what to say and what not to say during a job interview. Expand your vocabulary to bring nuance and variety to your answers
  • Get personalized job interview tips tailored to your job applications
  • Boost your self-esteem and speak Dutch with confidence!

What we expect of you

  • Active and enthusiastic participation - share your insights and learn from others
  • Invest in yourself! This includes working on some (short) assignments at home to get the most out of the workshops.

Dutch level

👥 minimum level 2.4/B1 Dutch speaking

Max 10 participants per week (min 5 participants)

💶 Cost: € 35/week – payment confirms your registration

Refunds are only possible 7 days before the start of the workshop and upon request.

Practical Info

June 30 to July 4every afternoon from 13:00-16:00
August 18 - 22every morning from 9:15-12:15

Please note that when registrering, Eventbrite only mentioned the first day of the week. But by registering for the event you are committing to all 5 days of the session.

Meet Els Maris, your language coach during the workshop:

Els Maris, founder of BE.INCLUSIVE, is an interpreter in Dutch, French, English, and German — with additional knowledge of Japanese. As an experienced language coach, she has helped many people develop their Dutch skills, both individually and through corporate training.

Driven by her passion for languages and people, she supports newcomers in Belgium with integration, improving their Dutch, and job searching.

For her, diversity and inclusion in the workplace are not just buzzwords — they are the key to strong, future-proof businesses.
